New Info and New Faucets below.

I know, its been way too long. I know, the roller-coaster has been way up and way down. As for me, I am still in the long process of moving to a new city and being without my dearly beloved Mrs. W for days on end. I hope the rest of you are enjoying the crypto-revolution. Can you believe where we are now compared to this time last year. Bitcoin was “officially” dead after dropping from $260 to $50. Ok, enough ranting. I have some new links for you all! Please consider donating to this blog in BTC or preferably Doge.

The Top 10 BEST Bitcoin Sites for Earning:

BitVisitor #1 – Good sites shown with good payouts. You can find a lot of resources through the pages shown. 5:00 minute average time per page. This is the #1 link because of the number of pages you can visit. Current High Payout is around 30uBTC

ABitBack #– Complete Surveys (I did a 5 minute one on beer that paid .0047BTC), Watch Videos for very decent amounts of Bitcoin. Payout in BTC, Steam, Amazon, etc. A phone number may be required for verification. In my opinion, pays out large amounts of Bitcoin more reliably than any other. I have no doubt I’ve made far over 1BTC at this place. Litecoin Too! Currently paying out best in Vouchers for BTC at BTC-E.

EarnFreeBit #3 – Easy to use and straight forward. It pays quickly after you view the webpage, so definitely check this one out. . This often gets up to a #1 spot when it carries a lot of ads. When it does, I try to hard to let you all know. Has tons of ads, and you can spend hours trying to get through them all! You’ll probably notice me in there, or you might be coming from there. My buddy Commander R. in Canada runs this site, and has been one of the most consistant sources of new users of Bitcoin in the last year. Truly a founding father, as many people got their first BTC from him.

QoinPro #4 – This site is absolutely amazing. While the BTC reward has been negligible (15000 Satoshi), I have earned over 6000 Fedora Coin and tons of other currencies that increase so much I cannot count!

CoinReaper #5 – This site’s best feature, and thus it’s reason for #5, is the fast speed with which you can blaze through many of the sites listed below. Beware, NSFW stuff could appear. It works pretty well. No real complaints, but may soon be overtaken by #6

LandofBitcoin #6 – This relatively new kid is a great hub for faucets and other earning options. Plus the faucet is simple, just click it every few minutes and a 2 letter captcha. Boom 100+ Satoshis. Hat-Tip to Phil, a long time friend of the blog!

BitCoinGet #7 – Has an embedded version of CoinTube that tracks your earnings, plus survey and simple webwork. The webwork is kind of us wash, but it is Crowdflower and it is better than surveys in my opinion. Sometimes, you can find easy ones that pay great. But most are a pain in the ass. Some NSFW webwork is sometimes available too, if that’s your thing.

CoinController #8- Massive return for almost no risk. If you don’t mind a small gamble of 1%, you can earn 12.5% immediately on investment for temporary Ad Space. This site is brand new, about 4 days old from post. I’ve made about .03 since I started, and that’s excluding gambling! Also features a chatroom that has been known to pay for chatting! If that version doesn’t work, check out CoinPr0n Chat, filled with veterans of the old CoinVisitor rooms.

HoneyBitcoin #9 – This is a new view pages for Bitcoin site, similar to #1, The payouts are less, but it sometimes has a decent variety of ads. The site is in spanish, but if you use Google Chrome like I do, it auto translates most of the relevant text.

BitcoinClix #10 – Brand new to the list, has high payouts of .00001 per page view. Not sure how long this one will be in the top 10.

ONE MINUTE FAUCET!

NEW POST THIS WEEK SOON!

I wanted to drop a quick line to all the readers. As bitcoin has re-re-crossed $1000. Cryptocurrency is rapidly changing the ways we think about money. Check out our friends at www.terrahash.io for great deals on cloud-hosted mining. Much Love

– Mr W.

Warm tidings from the Ws. I expect to fill this post out with a heavy reorder of the top 10 as I get some time off from my new job in investments. These last few months have been some of the best of my life. Even the price action of our favorite crypto-currency gives me great happiness. To think of the amazing growth this year as people realize they don’t have to let corrupt government figures oversee the entire concept of money is a dream come true. I remember when I first heard about bitcoin, only a few short days, I think, after Satoshi released the white paper. I remember thinking that if it could happen, the gift it would give to humanity was worth far more than any fortune I might make in the process. Certainly, no fortune has been made as I’ve never owned more than 5BTC total, and currently own significantly less after Asicminer losses. Nevertheless, I consider myself a very rich man. I have a loving wife and family. Wonderful hobbies and talents, a steady job and even a Lexus (albeit 18 years old). I also have all of you, my wonderful and faithful readers. It is to you thank I give the warmest wishes for whatever holiday you celebrate as the year draws to a close. My deepest thanks and love to you all.

Bitcoin Blizzard – A NEW collection of Faucets with other tools for earning.

Stock Twits – Wonderful resource to get cutting edge information on BTC price action.

BTC Adshare – I am super proud to promote this site. It has a great concept and the Admin has proven to be responsive to pushing out new features. http://www.bitcoinadshare.com/

Ounce Me – Not that you need another place to find the price, but I present it none-the-less. I am particularly pleased by the “pizza price,” relating to the first known bitcoin purchase

BitBillions – I haven’t had much time to review this site, but it promises amazing returns for those with the time to put in. Invitation only to join, and I offer it to you.

ZeroBlock –  Like Zerohedge, but for Bitcoin. Love this site and I check it frequently

Where’s Your Edge – An absolutely awesome Poker site that includes BTC and LTC support, rewards, and tournaments!

Bitsmoke – Shop for awesome tobacco only [ honest guys 🙂 ] smoking accessories

Cosforia – Buy awesome cosplay outfits with Bitcoin. Not my thing personally, but love to see people rocking the them.

Nothing like waking up to $500/Coin. What an amazing day! Watch paper money flow to Bitcoin Here. Want to get involved and love posting info? Check Here! Links and Faucets your thing? Check out LandofBitcoinAnd More at BitCoinGet

What a crazy week it has been. Holding strong at $450 A coin. I remember lamenting back in March if or when we would ever see the previous high of ~$266/Coin. What a journey, Bitcoin has had a huge impact on my life so far. It has pushed me further into my study of Economics, which is what I sorta majored in when I graduated from College. Im now working in investments full time, having left my former life in Human Resources behind.

I’m super exicted to promote my good buddy Nick’s site. You’ll find friendly advertisement & betting along with Chat and great, GREAT refferal opportunities. Each winning bet’s profit gives 20% to the friend who invited you. Do check them out!

Check out CoinController!

I’d also like to promite Tealet. Buy Tea from remote places, grown buy people with rich history and tradition from families who have done it for centuries. I am eagerly awaiting my recent purchase of Meijiawu Dragon Well Green Tea. Purchased from the referral bonuses of BitVegas.

Thanks again for all the kind comments and clicks.

Tagpad – This is a social sharing site with Bitcoins built in. Supposedly, they give you coin for sharing your sites, but I haven’t been paid and I’ve been subscribed for over a week.

ElBitcoinGratis  – En Español. El Bitcoins, Bitcoins de forma gratuita, todos los días. Bitcoins for free, once per day.

BitcoinBunnyRun – Once per Day, pick your bunny and hope for the best. I never get above 3rd.

BitCrate – Break the crates for BTC. Unfortunately, this often times runs out of Bitcoin quickly, but they have a Twitter account you can follow that updates you when it is loaded.

Rugutu – Ask Questions, Answer Questions. Get paid in Bitcoin. Great community.

Minecraft Faucet –  Get Paid to play minecraft. Any user reviews would be appreciated.

Jobs4Bitcoins – Subreddit for turning your skills into BTC.

THE USEFUL:

CONTEST LINK –  Click the link for entry into this week’s contest, ending May 10th 2013.

Blockchain – is the go to source for verifying blocks, and also houses a great wallet. The wallet is useful because it shows the current conversion rate of your fiat (paper) currency.

RTBTC Chart – A testbed for the coming data services platform from Real Time Bitcoin Data Services. Bear in mind, if Mt. Gox is under attack, it ain’t all that useful.

All Time High – A nifty site for tracking the most recent all-time high in Bitcoin. Pulls from multiple sources and you can choose your fiat currency of choice. Still the best source to get the true price of a bitcoin.

Slush’s Bitcoin Mining Pool – There are tons of pools, but Slush’s is well known and popular. Distributed Bitcoin Mining, with income based on shares.

Deepbit Mining Pool – Much like Slush’s, but presented for some modicum of fairness. Like I said above, plenty of pools to be found.

Havelock Investments – Invest your hard earned bitcoin. Buy shares of mining pools, or even Satoshi.

Zerohedge  – One of the best sites on the web for Bitcoin news and analysis. Great general economic and political news. Beware the comments, it is straight Fight Club up in there. Even I get up in the ring.

BitVegas – Gambling isn’t really my thing, but Minecraft is. Minimum bet is .001BTC, but I don’t have much experience with it. Anyone with a good user review can earn a donation.

Preev – A quick, fast bitcoin converter. Loads fast and easy to change to your currency of choice.

BitcoinLive  – A sweet  Google Chrome extension that gives you an icon on browser to view the page, and can be set up to give you notification of price changes.

SatoshiCircle – Gambling site that does give aways all the time on Reddit. Check them out here

Danish Bitcoin /r/ – New Subreddit for Danish Bitcoin users. I get a fair number of visitors from Denmark, so I wanted to post this. Be sure to give me a shout-out for me there.

Games for Bitcoin /r/ – Subreddit for buying Steam Accounts, WoW Accounts, Eve stuff. (Why have a game harder than your job? Why?)

Update: Earn Coin Chatting with a lively Community of renegade CoinVisitor survivors. – Coinpr0n

Mrs. W here again.

Of course the easiest way to earn bitcoins is  using faucets  in my opinion. I work as a nanny (taking care of a 1 year old) and it’s easy to just plug in my bitcoin address and go back to play with her and such.  I will give a brief description on the best ones I have found.

BitVisitBRAND NEW LINK – View / review sites to earn Bitcoin. SO EASY to earn, and you play Tic-Tac-Toe instead of Captchas to verify!

Abitback – Ive probably added HALF A BITCOIN to my wallet just from this site alone. I highly recommend it! Offers Bitcoin just for listening to the Radio. There are tons of surveys that pay cash and bitcoin, and the site pays extremely fast. There are monthly contests to earn up to .015 BTC.

Bitvisitor– Probably one of the most easier and popular sites to earn bitcoins.  All you really have to do is to enter your wallet address , and spend 5 mins viewing a webpage and then go onto the next one.  You can minimize the page and work on other things and go back to it. Payment is sent every 100 uBTC.

EarnFreebitcoins– Is very similar to bitvistor. You enter your wallet address and visit  webpage, instead of waiting 5 minutes as with bitvistior, you just have to wait 3 minutes. Once again you can open the webpage and minimize it and keep working other things.

Bitcoin4You– Another easy to use 3 minutes per webpage. Easy breezy way to earn bitcoins.

Coinflow – BRAND NEW LINK – Track prices of Bitcoin stocks from a variety of exchanges. (I prefer to use the Havelock exchange personally, but you can also get prices from BTC-TC, and Bitfunder and MPEx ).

The little one is waking up. I have a lot more information to update with. Found some new websites and will check them out and give information about them!

UpdateMrs. W here, sorry I didn’t update sooner. Enjoy the new links. I will update again soon with some other neat bitcoin sites that are more time consuming but worth it.

A special thank you goes out to cryptonaut for the post on reddit!

ABitBack – The place to go if you want to get paid to listen to music.

Hello, hope wherever you are reading this post from it’s a wonderful day for you.

Daily Bitcoins – simple bitcoin site, can delay payment  to minimize transaction fees.

Hartcode – cast your vote for the wallpaper of the day and earn bitcoins.

Bitcoin Addict – Free bitcoins with the chance of winning a jackpot.

CoinAd–  a great website for earning bitcoin. It’s a paid to click website, but it’s simple and easy.

Bitcrate– break a crate and win bitcoins, it’s available to play every 24 hours.

Get Free Bitcoins Daily – a bitcoin faucet with the chance to earn more bitcoins daily with a referral system.

BitcoinForest – enter you bitcoin address, complete the captcha and earn free bitcoins, you can earn more free bitcoins for completing surveys.

Also, I found this link that Mrs. W missed. Check it out.

Howdy bitcoin folks. My husband runs this blog, but because of his work I will be doing some posts here and there, so bear with me. The layout of mine will be different than what you are used to seeing.   I am a sucker for those faucet sites and here are some of the best ones I have found:

30 Minutes

Virtual Faucet – a clean designed site for free bitcoins

BTC Mine – not a mining site, a basic faucet site.

canhavebitcoin – the site will remind you of the late 90s , very flashy but good.

SrBitcoin – Spanish site, very easy to use, even if Spanish is not your language.

nioctbi – a nice faucet site designed with information and filled with tutorials for beginners.

El Bitcoin Gratis – another very to use Spanish faucet site.

GreenCoins– a nice and green site for getting bitcoins, I like the fresh and clean layout of this site the best.

Raw Bitcoins– a simple bitcoin site with starter information for beginners.

Thanks for reading 🙂  I will make another post of some of my favorite one hour bitcoins sites.

The 5th Bitcoin Crash has come, and has gone. Fueled by media, the price rose to 266 on Mt. Gox before tumbling to $54.25 over a particularly brutal 36 or so hours. Many of you might have noticed that while others cheered Bitcoin on higher and higher each day, I spoke instead of fear for the crash to come. No asset, outside of extreme catastrophe, should rise that quickly and hold it’s value and continue to rise. Good economics doesn’t allow it. Trust me, I was trained by the best. Also see the disclaimer.

As bad as recent events have been for our brothers and sisters in Cyprus, extreme catastrophe might be a bit of a stretch. Certainly, for some particularly large investors, the events were unbearable.  But, all things in perspective the EU could have actually botched the job worse by their original plan of turning a blind eye while the Cypriot government seized from all accounts at all banks. Never the less, A bit of good old fashioned panic set in. Across the globe, those who bother to read the news placed their trust in a computer to secure (for most) a fraction of their liquid and some non liquid wealth. The price jumped higher

No, with most certainty this crash should have caught none by surprise. The previous lag issues with Mt. Gox. An asset gaining 600% value in a month. Massive media promotion for free. The new reality of the Euro in just one meeting. Without doubt, many of you who will read this have made great fortunes by selling at multiples of your buy-in price. This is good, very good as the end result of the last 45 days has been a vast distribution of Bitcoin between a greater number of holders. The press certainly has convinced many businesses that Bitcoin is worth exploring. Certainly a further plummet could still occur, but I have no doubt the highs for bitcoin will be later in the year.

Commentary: Misconceptions

This is the first part of an article I am working on for someone. I don’t really know who they are, other than they are an editor for an online magazine I read. I just complained to them about an article, and they suggested I write one instead. So, here is part 1.

Bitcoin: Misconceptions

Bitcoin. What is it really? There are so many misconceptions, half-truths, and straight lies spoken regarding Bitcoin that sifting the wheat from the chaff can be a full time occupation. Instead of delving into what Bitcoin is and what it represents for the future, let us explore what Bitcoin really isn’t, though you may have heard otherwise:

Bitcoin is a Ponzi Scheme!

Taken from the first paragraph of the U.S. Government’s Securities and Exchange Commission’s website. Seems like a good place to start, with those who know it best.

A Ponzi scheme is an investment fraud that involves the payment of purported returns to existing investors from funds contributed by new investors.

Bitcoin is not an investment. Bitcoin is an exchange mechanism that exists and is propagated without the needs for banks or governments. The only thing it requires is the distributed network of computers which run the protocol.

In many Ponzi schemes, the fraudsters focus on attracting new money to make promised payments to earlier-stage investors and to use for personal expenses, instead of engaging in any legitimate investment activity.

There are no “promised payments” with Bitcoin. The price of each coin is determined solely by the market forces of supply and demand. You buy a bitcoin, and it is yours.

Ponzi scheme organizers often solicit new investors by promising to invest funds in opportunities claimed to generate high returns with little or no risk.

This is the only part of a Ponzi that Bitcoin bears any relation to. Many early adopters of Bitcoin have already become millionaires in the issued paper currency of their government. The promise of future returns such as they enjoyed has certainly caught the attention of the public. This is not the same as solicitation based on an investment plan, but rather the natural byproduct of a finite commodity whose use is rapidly becoming more widespread.

Bitcoin got Hacked!

The concept of hacking Bitcoin is an ever present fear to those who do not yet understand the resilience of the Bitcoin Protocol. The idea that wealth that could be confiscated by an evil third party is one of the more laughable arguments against Bitcoin. Ask the Cypriots how much faith they have in the Euro now? Ask the Russian depositors who trusted the EU to play by their own rules on capital controls. Article 73 B of the Maastricht Treaty specifically forbids the hindrance of capital across the EU zone and to third-parties. That did not stop them from rewriting the laws in the middle of the night. Talk about a hack, or rather a large group of!

Bitcoin is international, it is not controlled by a government. In such instances where a government acts in its own preservation and rather for the good of its people, the utility of a currency exchange like Bitcoin is invaluable to preserving wealth. The only hack it relates to is best related to these kind folks.

Bitcoins can be duplicated, it happened already!

There is no way to copy a bitcoin. Bitcoins come into existence  through the efforts of “miners.” Rather than digging into the ground in search of shiny metal, these techno-alchemists transform computing power and electricity into new coins. There is also a hard limit on the amount of coins that can be created, about 25 every 10 minutes. When these miners “strike gold” they are simply solving a very difficult math problem, while creating a new record for all transactions that have taken place recently. This builds the “blockchain” so that each and every transaction is recorded, but not the identity of those who are transacting.

There was an issue when a bug was found which caused some Bitcoins to be double-spent.  Rather than do damage to Bitcoin, it had the effect of strengthening the overall network as users and holders of Bitcoin saw the community come together asynchronously to fix the problem. New transfers were halted, Mt. Gox reacted instantly, and the few who lost moneywere compensated from within the community.

Hey there friend, welcome or welcome back! I want to start out by giving a lot of love to my brothers and sisters in Spain, my second largest group of visitors! I am coming soon, this summer, out to your country! I hope all of you are having a great Friday minus the terrible business with your financial dictators in Brussels.

I have had a few comments (3), asking to remove some of the ads so I will be removing ads, some with each post. BitVisitor and EarnFreeBits, are now tied for favorite with the latter gaining steam!

We have two four new sites today, listed below. I should have at-least 2 more for tomorrow’s post, so be sure to bookmark. I hope you all have a great weekend!

UPDATE: I just got my first Kiwi visitors, so I wanted to give a mighty cheer to my fellow All Blacks fans. Might as well add a few links too. Cheers!

THE GOOD:

EarnFreeBit #1 Tie.  Easy to use and straight forward. It pays quickly after you view the webpage, so definitely check this one out. Moderate time on each page required.

BitVisitor – #1 Tie.  Good sites shown with good payouts. You can find a lot of resources through the pages shown. 5:00 minute average time per page.

CoinVisitor –  My 3rd stop is always this site.  It features a fast, and dare I say fun way of doing captchas. Good page links too can help you earn additional Bitcoin. 15 Second average time per page.

Bitcoin4You – This can be kind of hit or miss, but pays everyday. Beware, as it will give you some NSFW content. Usually has a fair number of pages per day. 3:00 minute average time per page.

CoinReaper – This site’s best feature is the fast speed with which you can pass through the content. Beware, NSFW stuff could appear.

THE OKAY:

BitHits – Once per Day, free Bitcoin faucet. Also has good links to other sites. As far as 1/day faucets go, this one is worth that daily trip.

NetLookup *NEW* – Free Bitcoins, and super fast. Enter your credentials once, then simply visit the page to earn your Bitcoins. Nice, clean layout. Wish more could be like this.

BitCoiner – You only get a Once per Day payout, but the timer is reasonably accurate. Wham, Bam, Here’s Your Bitcoin, Ma’am

CoinTicket – Once per Day, Can be a while between payouts.

BitcoinPlus – A webpage based bitcoin miner. I’d recommend using a mining pool instead, like Slush’s or Deepbit listed below.

FreeCoins *NEW* – A new site with a faucet type pay out. Not yet confirmed payouts for me, if anyone else has gotten confirmed, please drop a comment with proof and ill donate.

CoinAd – Ad supported, Once per Day payout. You can register for an hourly prize plus jump in on the Chat room, a good spot for up-to-the minute BTC news. You can get some fast paying survey work that pays pretty well.

CoinTube – Watch videos, earn small amounts of BTC. Thankfully, the mute button works great. Usually plenty of videos to watch.

BitcoinGet – Has an embedded version of CoinTube that tracks your earnings, plus survey and simple webwork. The webwork is kind of us wash. Sometimes, you can find easy ones that pay great. But most are a pain in the ass. Some NSFW webwork is available, if that’s your thing.

Rugutu *NEW* – Ask Questions, Answer Questions. Get paid in Bitcoin. Great community.

THE USEFUL:

Blockchain – is the go to source for verifying blocks, and also houses a great wallet. The wallet is useful because it shows the current conversion rate of your fiat (paper) currency.
